Reader's Digest

This was for a Reader's Digest publication, a story about a man's memories of a local store called Ingram's.

I was definitely thinking 'vintage poster' on this one...it's always interesting- the struggle between less and more,

flatness and form.

Here's the finished piece...

This was for an article in the Wall Street Journal on the trend toward 'concierge' medicine.

As with many illustrators, I often like the drawing as much or more than the finished illustration,

I guess its the directness of pencil drawing that is appealing.

Nice Work If You Can Get It!

I'm quite excited about this job, which I finished in late November, but is just hitting the streets now.

Its for a new Broadway show, which stars Matthew Broderick and Kelli O'Hara.

I  illustrated this logo, as well as the poster, billboard, theatre signage , t-shirts etc.

I was just in NYC and was able to see the Imperial Theatre get its new look!
